Untitled, by Vacuous

Starlings, loud, startling
Back aching, slacking
Ash tree blooming over asphalt tiles
Leaves decaying, cloying
Restless, immersing in red cedar reflecting
Dim air, damp atmosphere
Cold squirrels chattering
Breath vapors blooming
Each instant individual
Each moment momentous

By the way, this is a poem about my experience of meditating yesterday. When it's warm enough, I like to meditate outside in the backyard. I changed the names of the trees to fit better into the lines. What in actual fact were two maple trees have become ash and red cedar.
